Wednesday Weigh-In!

Well I JUST logged back into my blog to see that people ACTUALLY read it last week!! WOW!!! I didn't even know it!!! HAHA!! I will figure this thing out soon enough...

I'm going to have to log in more often!! (I actually thought about logging in a few times during the week to post a food diary or workout tracker or SOMETHING... we shall see. I'm just getting my feelers out at this point.)

Unrelated news -- I got laid off yesterday! I'm actually happy about it, strangely... and have a new found sense of ambition and energy!! YAY I don't have to go back to a stinky cubical and sit around and be lazy all day!!!

Anyways... I did well this week! Adding the protein powder into my diet seems to really help!! I am down another 4 lbs this week and haven't really started to exercise yet. I HAVE been out doing yardwork and have been more active. But haven't started a routine yet... Still healing from that C-Section, but I'm going to give it a try this week!

  3. Great job!! That is excellent! You get you a work out plan in place and you'll really see that weight come off!

    Good luck this week!

  4. Thanks, April! I actually started my "phasing in" routine today!! I know that if I try and go balls-to-the wall crazy with working out, I will give up and fail. It went great!! I'll be writing about it shortly!

  5. I suggest you try the 30-Day Shred. I hated, HATED, working out. Sweating made me grossed out. I lost 50 pounds without working out at all! But since I've been shredding, I've never felt better! I have so much energy and I keep doing it everyday because I know my Sisters are doing it right along side me! I realize that it's probably to soon for you to Shred since you just had a baby via C-section, but you should keep it in mind for down the road. It's only a 20 minute workout, which was key for me!

You are doing great, though, and I'm proud of your loss! Keep up the good work and slowly work in the exercise. You're off to a great start and I know you'll be out of the 240s before you know it!

  7. Thanks, Christy! I DO plan on doing the shred at some point... AFTER I get back into "ONE-derland"

For now, I just started my own little version of the 30-day-shred. I'm doing the 6-week Cardio Blast with Bob, Jillian, and Kim. It's been great so far!! I'm only on Week 1 Day 2... but I feel 150% better already!

I actually used to LOVE working out. Just three years ago I weighed 145 lbs and was RIPPED. I don't know if I'll get back there ever again, but I can sure as heck try to get close!
